What curbside delivery means

Your rubber mulch travels as pallets on a freight truck. The driver lowers each pallet to the ground at the curb. That is how a pallet comes down at a home with no loading dock.

The drop point is your curb, your driveway, or the nearest spot the truck can reach safely. The driver sets your pallets there and hands you the paperwork. That is where our part of the job ends.

We deliver the mulch. We do not install it. Many homeowners do that with a wheelbarrow in an afternoon. Plan a few hours and a helper if the bed sits far from the curb.

What arrives on the truck

Each pallet holds 75 cubic feet. You choose how it is packed.

• Bags: fifty bags of 1.5 cubic feet each, stacked and wrapped on one pallet.
• Super sack: one large sack holding the whole pallet load.
• Same price: the packaging you pick does not change what you pay.

Bags suit a job where people carry the mulch by hand. One person moves one bag at a time to the bed or the play area. Bags also let you stop halfway and finish the next weekend.

A super sack comes off in one piece, so it needs a loading dock, or a forklift and a pallet jack on site. There is one piece to handle instead of 50, so a big job unloads faster when you have the equipment.

Both come in all six colors: Black, Brown, Red, Green, Blue, and Unpainted.

Where we deliver

We deliver to all 48 contiguous states, curbside, on every order.

Our rubber mulch is made in Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin. Orders to the rest of the 48 states are delivered from the plant that serves your area.

From order to delivery day

What we need from you at checkout

Three details keep a delivery on schedule.

• A phone number: the carrier calls it on a weekday to set your window.
• A street address a truck can reach: the job site, not a mailing address.
• Anything a driver should know: a gate code, a tight turn, or a shared driveway.

A missed carrier call is the most common reason a date slips. Watch for it after you order.

What your address needs

Curbside delivery goes smoothly when three things are true.

• Room for the truck: a full-size freight truck needs street or driveway access.
• A clear drop spot: move cars, bins, and toys off the curb or driveway first.
• An adult on site: someone has to receive the shipment and sign for it.

Some addresses take extra planning. Narrow streets, steep driveways, and gated communities can each slow a truck down. Tell us before you order and we will sort it out ahead of time.

Delivering to a business or job site

Commercial sites often unload faster than homes. Tell us what you have on site and we will match the delivery to it.

• A loading dock: the truck backs in and the pallets come off level.
• A forklift: the pallets go straight to the work area.
• Neither: the pallets come down at the curb, the same as at a home.

Receiving hours matter as well. Give us the window your site accepts freight, and the carrier will work inside it.

Freight dates are estimates, and weather moves trucks.

Spreading is quick once the mulch is there. The hard part is the carry from the curb, so put your hours into that.

Moving the mulch from the curb

Set your route before you open anything. A wheelbarrow, a hand truck, and one helper cover most home jobs.

Bags travel well one or two at a time in a wheelbarrow. Carry them closed to the bed, then cut them open where the mulch goes. Cutting them at the pallet makes twice the work.

A super sack needs forks. Lift it from the loops, carry it to the work area, and open the bottom spout over the spot you are filling.

Keep the pallet on firm, level ground while you work. Grass turns soft under a loaded pallet after rain, and a leaning pallet is hard to unload.

Plan the install before the truck comes

Decide where the mulch goes before delivery day. Clear the bed or the play area, and stage your tools nearby.

Depth is the number to settle first, because depth sets how far a pallet goes. In a play area, depth follows the fall height of your equipment.
